Founder and Managing Director
Chris founded C W Dix Limited in 2012 having been a practising accountant in the Wakefield area for many years.
Chris has built strong relationships with his clients having built an in – depth understanding of their businesses and business needs. Through his extensive professional contact list, Chris is able to give clients the best possible advice.
Chris is a supporter of many local charities. He is currently a Trustee of Wakefield Children’s Charity and was previously a Trustee of Sports Aid Yorkshire & Humberside, a charity which supports highly talented young sports men and women.
Away from work Chris has a keen interest in sport being a member of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and also a supporter of Wakefield Trinity.
Senior Manager
Carolyn is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and has worked with Chris for many years.
Carolyn has an extensive knowledge and works closely with clients to help solve their problems. She has a wide experience of many accounting packages including Xero, Sage and Pegasus Opera and is the first port of call for clients with a problem.
Away from work Carolyn enjoys evenings at the local jazz club or sampling the offerings of cities across Europe.
Payroll Manager and Administrator
Alison joined the business in 2016, initially dealing with all aspects of the general office. Alison is often the first person a client will meet. She is also responsible for the smooth running of the payroll bureau department.
Away from the office Alison has many interests including being a keen Leeds United supporter, visiting the theatre and not least looking after her grandson.
Accountant and Business Development Co-Ordinator
Having graduated from University, Rachel became a Primary Teacher but a career change brought her into accountancy in 2020.
Rachel has developed an in-depth knowledge of Xero and Sage accounting packages which has enabled her to develop her skill set to benefit her clients. Having previously undertaken management roles in education, Rachel has successfully transferred her skills into a new working environment.
Rachel is advancing her way through her AAT qualifications.
Rachel is interested in most sports, having previously played competitive netball and hockey.
She also enjoys regular travels with her husband Steve.
Rachel has also built up her own contacts and she has joined the organising committee for the WACCL charity lunch.
Assistant Accountant and Business Development Co-Ordinator
Jonathan joined the business in 2022 having also worked in education for 13 years. He regularly works on Xero and Sage accounting packages to the benefit of his clients.
Jonathan is working his way through the AAT training programme whilst building his own portfolio of clients and expanding his network of contacts.
Jonathan is married to Laura and they have one son, Lucas. Jonathan has an interest in most sports having played for Sandal RUFC for many years. He is a Season Ticket holder at both Leeds United and Wakefield Trinity.
